Even More - on Quackbuster "Racketeering"...

I've had some complaints that some people are finding it difficult to open the Colorado "case" documents, either in the "html" or the "pdf" versions. I don't know why this sometimes happens, but there are three other ways to view the documents:

(1) Go to the website http://www.quackpotwatch.org/default.htm and click on "Latest Millions of Health Freedom Fighters Newsletter," and go in through the article there, to the links.

(2) Click on http://www.quackpotwatch.org/opinionpieces/RacketeeringColorado2.htm, and, hopefully, it will take you there.

(3) Click on http://www.quackpotwatch.org/opinionpieces/RacketeeringAction.htm, and you should go right to the "html" copy of the lawsuit.

The "pdf" version won't open for you unless you have Adobe Acrobat version five installed on your computer. The "pdf" version has the Court stamp on it.

The Seriousness of This Case... for the Quackbusters...

Racketeering is a serious charge to have leveled against an organization. Black's law Dictionary says "Racketeering - (1) a system of organized crime traditionally involving the extortion of money from businesses by intimidation, violence, or other illegal methods. (2) A pattern of illegal activity (such as bribery, extortion, fraud, and murder) carried out as part of an enterprise (such as a crime syndicate) that is owned or controlled by those engaged in the illegal activity. The modern sense derives from the Federal RICO statute, which greatly broadens the term's original sense to include such activities as mail fraud, securities fraud, and the collection of illegal gambling debts."

But, what the quackbusters need to worry about, MOST, is the fact that although this RICO complaint is initiated from the Civil Court side of the law, RICO is still a CRIMINAL action. As the case progresses the Feds could step in at any time...
